Catalunya, Spain - Reducing Realism
Through a series of seven unique sessions, we will attempt to realize and refine our ability to transcribe reality, through the filter of our imagination, into the language of paint. We will explore novel uses of color, form, and stroke; experiment with abstraction, reduction, and exaggeration under the umbrella of ‘realism.’ The course will consist of daily live demos, supervised painting sessions, one on one critiques, and intimate discussions about purpose in art, capturing social media, and the career path of the artist.
